Pt Lonsdale Lighthouse
One of our first nature shoots post Melbourne lockdowns. It's also the first lighthouse shoot done since returning to Australia in mid-2019.
A navigation light was first established in 1856 at Point Lonsdale to assist shipping to enter Port Philip Bay to access Melbourne. This light overlooks one of the most treacherous water ways in the world. Despite automation, GPS assisted navigation, and being listed as a heritage site, this lighthouse is operation and still plays an important role in keeping all manner of ocean going traffic safe. Thanks to this lighthouse, very few vessels have been lost at this narrow and dangerous point.
Regular and long-time followers of us know that we take delight in ocean-side sunset photos. We hope that this new addition to the collection also brings delight for you too.
These prints are prepared in either Melbourne or US-based printers (depending on your location), and prepared to the highest standard expected of galleries. Paper stock may vary, but will be 100-year archival/gallery type. Matte paper/prints are preferred by the artist as these give a clear and complete view of the print. Frames are black coated wood, allowing focus and attention on the print itself.

SIGNED PRINTS
All artist signed prints are prepared in Melbourne and personally inspected by Andrew himself. Paper used is archival gallery type, and acid-free archival type pens are also used. Pen colours are black and white, and the actual colour used for your image will depend on which allows the signature to be properly seen. Due to size restrictions, only unframed rolled signed-prints can be posted internationally. Framed options are available to Australian-based recipients.
